MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020335 A) filed by University Of Patanjali, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, on March 19, 2024, for 'a portable eco-friendly ishti havan apparatus.'
Inventor(s) include Sadhvi Devpriya; Swami Yagyadev; and Swami Vipradev.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A Portable Eco-Friendly Ishti Havan Apparatus A portable eco-friendly sterilizer/havan apparatus comprises a base plate (1) having a handle (2) provided to hold and transport the base plate (1). A bowl-like structure (3), provided at the center of the base plate (1), is provided to contain liquid fuel and cotton stick. A base stand (4), adapted to be placed on the base plate (1), is provided to hold a one-time burnable composite structure (5) provided to hold and burn havan samagri therewith."
