MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421038029 A) filed by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Maharashtra, on May 14, 2024, for 'a portable cnc bed frame assembly.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention pertains to a portable CNC bed frame assembly 100 tailored supporting steel plate cutting on CNC Plasma underwater plate cutting machines. The CNC bed frame assembly 100 comprises a flat bar grid cartridge structure 10 and a frame structure 10A. The flat bar grid cartridge structure 10 consists of a plurality of vertical flat bars 1 and a plurality of slotted vertical flat bars 2, forming a grid-like pattern to support raw steel plates during cutting operations. The frame structure 10A composed of a plurality of angle frames (3,4), provides stability and support. The plurality of lugs 5 are used to secure the positioning of the flat bar grid cartridge structure 10 and to facilitate easy installation and removal of the CNC bed frame assembly 100 from 102 as well as to separate angle frame structure 10A from 10."
