MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511085080 A) filed by Graphic Era, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on Sept. 8, for 'a portable and removable bamboo-moss based system for thermal insulation and air purification.'
Inventor(s) include Sagar Singh Negi; Somya Rawat; and Narendra Gariya.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an eco-friendly approach providing solution to increase in surrounding temperature due to presence of large amount of carbon dioxide and excessive heating of buildings during summer. More particularly, the present invention provides an unique and eco-friendly, cost effective and efficient approach as a solution to increase in surrounding temperature due to presence of large amount of carbon dioxide and excessive heating of buildings during summer by providing a portable and removable bamboo-moss structure providing thermal insulation, reducing heat transfer and purifying the surrounding air."
