MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641008885 A) filed by Dr. R. Nithyatharani; Dr. Jamsheer A. M; Ms. S. Vijaya Samoondeeswari; Dr. R. Ushasri; Dr. P. Nithiya; Dr. Prasun Kumar; and Dr. R. Manikandan, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, on Jan. 29, for 'a phytopellet composition for enhancing plant growth and yield.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The system (100) includes a A phytopellet composition for enhancing plant growth and yield comprising a plant nutrient core (102), a bioactive growth promoter unit (104), a soil conditioning unit (106), a microbial enrichment unit (108), a binding and pelletization unit (110), and a controlled release coating unit (112), wherein the plant nutrient core (102) supplies essential nutrients, the bioactive growth promoter unit (104) stimulates plant growth, the soil conditioning unit (106) improves soil properties, the microbial enrichment unit (108) enhances nutrient availability, the binding and pelletization unit (110) forms uniform pellets, and the controlled release coating unit (112) ensures sustained nutrient delivery. The invention enhances agricultural productivity and promotes sustainable crop growth with improved nutrient efficiency."
