MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521121917 A) filed by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, Maharashtra, on Dec. 4, 2025, for 'a pharmaceutical composition for burn management and related methods.'

Inventor(s) include Shekhar, Himanshu; Aphale, Parth; and Dokania, Shashank.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a pharmaceutical composition that includes Cantharis Q and Calendula officinalis Q in customizable concentrations. The composition is prepared under a temperature-controlled process to preserve the vibrational efficacy of the mother tinctures and is free from steroids, antibiotics, and synthetic emulsifiers. It is packaged in amber-glass to protect the potency of the active ingredients."
