MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621003746 A) filed by Kalyankar Tukaram Mohanrao; Karhale Mukesh Bhujangrao; Shinde Nagoji Madhavrao; Kalyankar Pranali Pralhad; and Bokare Pallavi Pandurang, Naded, Maharashtra, on Jan. 14, for 'a pharmaceutical composition comprising budesonide pharmaceutical preparation containing it, and process for preparation thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Kalyankar Tukaram Mohanrao; Karhale Mukesh Bhujangrao; Shinde Nagoji Madhavrao; Kalyankar Pranali Pralhad; and Bokare Pallavi Pandurang.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising budesonide or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, The invention also relates to processes for the preparation of such compositions and using those compositions in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome including mild to moderate ulcerative colitis."
