MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521129249 A) filed by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, Maharashtra, on Dec. 19, 2025, for 'a pharmaceutical composition and related methods of moisturising cream.'

The composition is designed for moisturizing and improving uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, and sun-induced dark patches. It includes emollients like Vitamin E acetate and anti-inflammatory agents such as zinc oxide. The preparation method involves mixing the ingredients under controlled conditions to ensure a smooth, stable emulsion, followed by packaging in click-press dispensing containers for precise dosing. The cream provides skin-soothing, moisturizing, and toning benefits."
