MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521134318 A) filed by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, Maharashtra, on Dec. 31, 2025, for 'a pharmaceutical composition and related methods for management of insomnia.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a pharmaceutical roll-on composition for managing insomnia comprises Passiflora incarnata Q, Coffea cruda, alcohol base and purified water. The composition is prepared by forming a uniform hydro-alcoholic base, incorporating actives at 30 C, and applying a proprietary Cranial-Vagus Absorption Synchronization (CVAS) technique involving temperature conditioning (33-35 C), micro-layer alignment stirring, and rapid stabilization cooling (24-26 C) to enhance transdermal absorption and efficacy. Packaged in roll-on bottles with steel ball applicators, the formulation targets insomnia while also addressing insomnia, delayed sleep onset, racing thoughts, stress-induced sleeplessness, night restlessness, frequent awakenings, and hyperactive mental states through optimized cranial-nerve delivery pathways."
