MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521121860 A) filed by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, Maharashtra, on Dec. 4, 2025, for 'a pharmaceutical composition and related methods for keloids.'

Inventor(s) include Dokania, Shashank; Aphale, Parth; Sharma, Dharmendra B; and Shekhar, Himanshu.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a composition for keloids is described, which includes a lipid-based ointment base and Staphysagria Q in a range of 3 to 10g. The ointment is designed to preserve the potency of the Staphysagria Q and is suitable for daily use on sensitive skin as it is steroid-free and preservative-free. The manufacturing process involves a vibration-preserving, low-temperature method to maintain the efficacy of the active ingredients."
