MUMBAI, India, July 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521025186 A) filed by Hoiya Health Pvt. Ltd., Maharashtra, on March 20, for 'a pelvic support vaginal insert device.'

Inventor(s) include Hora, Shashwat; and Yadav, Ghanshyam.

The application for the patent was published on July 11, under issue no. 28/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pelvic support vaginal insert device (100) for managing various pelvic floor disorders is disclosed. The said device (100) comprises of a spindle-shaped collapsible body (110) which is configured to transform said device (100) from a compressed state to an expanded state and further comprises of a single or a plurality of spindle shaped structures (110a, 110b). The plurality of spindle shaped structures (110a, 110b) comprises a plurality of flexible curved arms (130) that protrudes inwards or outwards based on the said state of the body (110) and has varying cross-sectional area at a plurality of critical points and is configured to provide joint-like deformation in the body (110). The said device (100) is configured to support the vaginal walls and urethra together when the body (110) is transformed into the expanded state."
