MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202321072981 A) filed by Hyundai Mobis Co. Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Oct. 26, 2023, for 'a parking guidance system for a vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Mohamed Asharudeen.
The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a parking guidance system(100) for a vehicle. The parking guidance system comprises an array of proximity sensing units (105), a plurality of image capturing devices(110A, 110B, 110C, 110D), at least one speed sensing unit(115), a processing module(135), and a display unit(140). The processing module is in electrical communication with the proximity sensing units(105), the image capturing devices(110A, 110B, 110C, 110D) to receive the corresponding sensed signal and is further configured to process the sensed signal data to generate dynamic boundary(150) and a vehicles' trajectory(145) in real-time based on the vehicles movement and the surrounding environment during operative configuration of the parking guidance system. Advantageously, the system(100) offers guidance during the forward parking, the reverse parking and parallel parking of the vehicle."
