Patel; Chauhan Shreya J; Milan Thakar; and Guarang Sindhav, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on March 12, for 'a novel synthesis of 2-(imidazolyl-thio)-n-arylacetamide derivatives.'

The invention further pertains to the resulting hybrids were conceived to modulate enzymatic targets involved in microbial folate biosynthesis, particularly dihydropteroate synthase (DHPS), thereby offering a dual mode of action that combines interference with essential metabolic pathways and broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity."
