MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441016514 A) filed by Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited; and Robert Bosch Gmbh, Bangalore, Karnataka, on March 7, 2024, for 'a navigation device to display a route information to a user.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system to display a route information to a user ABSTRACT Disclosed are techniques to display a route information (8) to a user, said user navigating from an origin to a destination. A navigation device (1) comprises a processor (2) configured to identify a set of routes (3) between the origin and the destination, and to identify a set of points of interest (4) in said identified set of routes (3). Said processor is further configured to identify at least one demographical parameter (5) in said set of routes (3), assign at least one route attribute (7) to at least one route in said identified set of routes (3) based on the at least one demographical parameter, determine at least one route category (6) for said at least one route in said identified set of routes (3) based on said identified set of POIs and displaying said at least one route category (6) and said at least one route attribute (7) to the user as the route information (8) through a display means (9)."
