The system comprises a rotating cup holder configured to store multiple stacks of cups of different sizes. A control system (104) controls a first motor (106) to rotate the rotating cup holder such that a selected cup stack is aligned with a dispensing position, and a second motor (114) operatively coupled to a single lead screw (116) vertically actuates a cup pushing arrangement for releasing a cup from the selected cup stack. The system further comprises a sensing unit (112) configured to detect whether the cup is dispensed at the dispensing position and initiate a corrective dispensing operation when the cup is not detected. The system (100) further includes one or more limit switches (120) configured to provide positional feedback during homing and resetting operations."
