MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611052917 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on April 25, for 'a multi-cavity injection mold with uniform flow control.'

Inventor(s) include Om Prakash Sahani; and Rakesh Kumar Singh.

The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A multi-cavity injection mold includes a mold base, a manifold block receiving melt through an inlet, and runner branches feeding multiple cavity zones. Branch flow regulators are disposed along respective runner branches upstream of gate sections to vary local melt resistance. Sensor units supply branch-specific operating data to a controller, which adjusts the regulators to reduce cavity filling imbalance. Cooling circuits further promote thermal uniformity, thereby improving consistency of molded articles produced across the cavities."
