According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a novel multi-bioactive herbal soap formulation specifically designed for infant skin care, integrating plant-based oils, herbal extracts, and natural preservatives. Traditional baby soaps often contain synthetic surfactants, artificial colorants, and chemical preservatives, which can irritate sensitive skin. This invention addresses these limitations by combining high-quality oils-including coconut, jojoba, almond, shea butter, grapeseed, and avocado oils-with herbal extracts such as Aloe vera, Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum), Hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis), Curcumin (Curcuma longa), and Acalypha indica. The formulation employs a cold-process saponification method, ensuring mild pH and retention of bioactive compounds. Herbal extracts and natural preservatives, including Vitamin E, Neem extract, and honey, are incorporated at light trace ( 40 C) to maintain their therapeutic properties and stability. The resulting soap exhibits mild cleansing, moisturizing, antioxidant activity."
