MUMBAI, India, June 16 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611054947 A) filed by J Pan Tubular Components Limited, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on April 30, for 'a multi-axis automated brazing system.'
Inventor(s) include Jignesh Panchal.
The application for the patent was published on June 5, under issue no. 23/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a Multi-Axis Automated Brazing system comprising a rotary conveyor designed to rotate objects in a full circle with concealed compartments for wires, working in coordination with a rotation unit, part fixture and brazing unit. A fixture station comprises clamping fixture units configured to securely hold, locate and support workpieces during brazing and prevent shifting. A fixture rotation unit precisely rotates components by a specific angle or continuously to enable access to multiple sides without manual repositioning. The system further comprises a plurality of brazing stations and a control unit configured to handle different part sizes, joint locations and product variants. The brazing system performs any-point brazing through multi-axis movement including 8-axis movement, controlled linear motion and 360-degree rotation, ensuring consistent quality by controlling torch position, sequence, heating time and movement, and enabling repeatable multi-joint brazing in a single continuous cycle."
