MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202321081095 A) filed by Tata Motors Limited, Maharashtra, on Nov. 29, 2023, for 'a mounting device for configuring a motor for a vehicle and the vehicle thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure discloses a mounting device (100) for configuring a motor (1) of a vehicle is disclosed. The mounting device (100) comprises a core extending from a portion of a base (1). The core is defined with a mounting provision (6) to couple with a portion of the motor (1). The housing (3) encloses the core in a spaced apart configuration, wherein the housing (3) extends from a portion of the base (1). The mounting device (100) comprises a first plurality of damping members (4) disposed on opposing sides of the core and a second plurality of damping members (4) disposable along a periphery of the housing (3). In an embodiment, the mounting device (100) dampens external forces from the motor (1) in different directions during operation of the vehicle for recuperation and damping turning forces in the motor (1) during operation of the motor (1)."
