MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541133580 A) filed by Dr. Mahalingam College Of Engineering And Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'a motorized rotary welding fixture for multi-joint robotic arc welding applications.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a motorized rotary welding fixture designed for robotic arc welding applications. Motorized rotary mechanism positions workpieces optimally relative to the welding torch for better quality, flexibility, and efficiency of weld. The subject invention can be applied in academic, research, and industrial robotic welding environments."
