MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511124219 A) filed by Graphic Era, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on Dec. 9, 2025, for 'a modular smart cooking station for effortless meal preparation.'

Inventor(s) include Roohi Naaz; Dr Shipra Agarwal; and Bharti Ramtiyal.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention provides a modular smart cooking station comprising a base unit and multiple detachable functional modules connected through magnetic couplings with inductive power and data transfer. Each module performs a dedicated cooking-related function such as chopping, blending, cooking, steaming, frying, or self-cleaning, and includes embedded sensors for real-time monitoring. A central AI-based control system automatically identifies required modules, sequences cooking tasks, and adjusts operating parameters based on recipe selection, available ingredients, and user preferences. The system incorporates wireless mesh communication, IoT connectivity, safety intelligence, and a self-cleaning mechanism, enabling a compact, adaptive, and automated cooking solution. The invention reduces physical and cognitive workload, particularly benefiting working women, elderly individuals, and users in small or shared kitchens."
