Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'A Method Of Assembling An Article And A Tool Thereof' Filed by National Engineering Industries Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311083381 A) filed by National Engineering Industries Ltd., Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Dec. 7, 2023, for 'a method of assembling an article and a tool thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a method (400) of assembling a seal (510) and an extending member (540). The method (400) includes the steps of placing the seal (510) on a platform (520) having an indented portion (522). The extending member (540) is placed on the seal (510). A first cylinder tool (550) places the extending member (540) at least partially in the seal (510). Further, dissociating (540) the first cylinder tool (550) to move the seal (510) and the extending member (540) away from the indented portion (522). A second cylinder tool (560) places the seal (510) in contact with the indented portion (522). Thereafter, dissociating (560) the second cylinder tool (560) and the seal (510) to provide an article (200) having a seal lip (512) oriented upwards."
