MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202423022783 A) filed by Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Maharashtra, on March 23, 2024, for 'a method for catalyst recovery from carbon nanotubes and use of recycled catalyst for cnt production thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Seshubabu, Narayanam; Kumar, Sagar Pal; Samala, Bhanumurthy; Mohanasundaram, Palvannan; Irudayaraj, Devotta; and Ramakumar, Sankara Sri Venkata.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This present invention relates in general to method for recovery of catalytic elements from raw carbon nanotubes (CNT). The present invention particularly relates to a method recovery of catalytic elements using a filtrate solution containing recovered catalytic elements from a CNT purification process. The present invention also relates to use of recovered/ recycled catalytic elements for CNT production."
