MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621042914 A) filed by Lakshmi Narain College Of Technology Excellence, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, on April 3, for 'a method and system for hardware-integrated predictive cross-layer intelligent multiband energy-optimized communication control system.'

Inventor(s) include Rajdeep Shrivastava; and Dr. Deepak Soni.

The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A Method and System for Hardware-Integrated Predictive Cross-Layer Intelligent Multiband Energy-Optimized Communication Control System The present invention relates to a tightly integrated, hardware-driven, predictive, cross-layer intelligent communication system for energy-efficient multiband wireless communication, particularly in Internet of Things (IoT) environments. The system comprises a reconfigurable multiband antenna module, RF front-end and transceiver, multi-parameter sensing module, AI-based communication control unit, processor, and power management module operating in a closed-loop architecture. Real-time sensing of communication parameters including signal quality, traffic load, environmental conditions, and energy status is performed. An artificial intelligence model analyzes the sensed data to predict optimal communication states and jointly optimize frequency band selection, transmission power, antenna configuration, and communication modes. The system further implements adaptive duty cycling, predictive energy-aware scheduling, and continuous learning-based optimization. Hardware-level actuation enables dynamic antenna tuning, impedance matching, and RF parameter adjustment. The invention provides improved energy efficiency, communication reliability, and context-aware adaptive performance in dynamic and resource-constrained wireless communication environment."
