MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411071368 A) filed by M/S Asma Traexim Private Limited, New Delhi, on Sept. 20, 2024, for 'a method and a system for manufacturing wood-plastic composite door frame.'

The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method (100) for manufacturing wood-plastic composite door frame is disclosed. Formulating a raw material for a wood-plastic composite door frame. Feeding the raw material to a hot mixer. Extracting the raw material from the hot mixer and cooling at a predefined temperature. Producing the wood-plastic composite door frame by utilizing an extrusion machine with a screw and a barrel. Melting the raw material by utilizing a plurality of first heaters positioned on a top of the barrel. Positioning a head in front of the screw and the barrel to melt the raw material completely. Positioning a mould in front of the head to shape the raw material. Directing the raw material into a water tank to cool the raw material. Utilizing a haul-off section to pull the raw material towards a cutting section. Cutting the raw material into a plurality of sizes by using a cutting section."
