MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641024578 A) filed by Meenakshi Academy Of Higher Education And Research, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on March 2, for 'a method and a system for entropy-aware, hazard-weighted artificial intelligence-driven medical intelligence and preventive care governance.'

Inventor(s) include Sumanth Kumar B; Jayabarathi B; Fabioladhanraj; and Sridevi Sangeetha K S.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a system and method for entropy-aware, hazard-weighted, artificial intelligence-driven medical intelligence and preventive care governance. The system comprises a multimodal data acquisition device configured to capture physiological, behavioral, and contextual parameters, a preprocessing unit for signal normalization and synchronization, an entropy analysis engine for cross-parameter instability detection, and a hazard-rate modeling module configured to compute individualized time-dependent risk probabilities using survival-analysis-based predictive algorithms. A digital twin simulation module generates a continuously updated virtual physiological state representation to forecast trajectory evolution and evaluate intervention-response scenarios. A preventive intervention optimization engine dynamically adapts recommendations using reinforcement-based feedback mechanisms. A governance decision module assigns severity tiers and generates context-aware escalation outputs, including reassurance notifications, preventive advisories, clinician alerts, or emergency escalation."
