MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641063636 A) filed by Meenakshi Academy Of Higher Education And Research, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on May 20, for 'a method and a system for bio-adaptive therapeutic optimization using digital twin health analytics.'
Inventor(s) include Mahendran C; Pandiyan K R; Regi Cindrella M; Gowthami Priyadharshini; and Kalpana P.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a method and a system for bio-adaptive therapeutic optimization using digital twin health analytics. The system comprises one or more physiological sensing devices configured to continuously acquire multi-modal physiological datasets associated with a patient, including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, biochemical, and behavioral parameters. A digital twin generation engine continuously generates and updates a patient-specific virtual physiological model using real-time physiological inputs and historical healthcare records. A predictive physiological simulation engine evaluates multiple therapeutic pathways to determine treatment-response characteristics, physiological instability probabilities, and organ-specific risk scores prior to actual treatment administration. An artificial intelligence and machine-learning analytical engine dynamically optimizes therapeutic parameters including medication dosage, ventilator settings, insulin delivery, and rehabilitation intensity based on predictive healthcare analytics and real-time physiological feedback."
