MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117939 A) filed by Jaypee University Of Information Technology, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, on Nov. 27, 2025, for 'a method and a system for ai-based personalized learning using blockchain and cognitive feedback.'

Inventor(s) include Anubhav Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure describes a system, method, and intelligent learning device for providing personalized learning with AI capabilities, utilising blockchain and a cognitive perspective. The intelligent learning device includes multiple sensors and input channels, eye-tracking, emotion recognition, motion analysis, and biometric feedback to capture real-time behavioral and cognitive data from the learner. The signals are evaluated against personalized student engagement baselines developed through artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms to classify learner engagement states, focused, distracted, fatigued, or cognitively overloaded. The learning algorithm generates context-aware adaptive responses considering the classification, including real-time motivational prompts, dynamic content modification, or rest suggestions. The smart learning ecosystem is a coordinated sensor module with a continuous AI analytics server and blockchain-secured communication channels that establishes a secure, intelligent learning ecosystem that continuously adapts to the learner, proves secure learning progress, and achieves quantifiable learner efficiency improvement."
