According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method and a system are provided for grouping resources. The seps involved are by grouping by data processing hardware, multiple resources from a plurality of resources into a resource group. A hardware is assigned on the bases of user defined label. A resource policy to be applied is received. Resource policy restricting operations is performed on the multiple resources in the resource group and comprising the user-defined labels assigned to each resource in the resource group and thereto applying and using the user-defined labels. Different computing environments are accessed where each resource among the multiple resources in the resource group reside. The system comprises data processing hardware and memory hardware in communication with the data processing hardware."
