MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311083819 A) filed by Amity University, Manesar, Haryana, on Dec. 8, 2023, for 'a medicine dosing bottle assembly and working method thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Arun Kumar Sharma; Ashish Kumar; Gunjan Sharma; Priyanka Bisht; Srishti Srivastav; Jitennder Singh; and Yash Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention describes a medicine dosing bottle assembly and the working method thereof. The present invention describes a noble medication bottle that enables the user to deliver medication without human contact. Our product is reusable, economical, and washable; The close-body design prevents environmental and cross-contamination of the medications. The bottle assembly comprises of compressible lower body 8, which is also used for the storage of the medication. When the compressible body is compressed, it creates positive pressure, which results in the traveling of medicine through dip tube 9, to the upper measuring compartment. Medication needs to be filled to the brim of the compartment having the graduation mark 4. When the pressure on the compressible bottle 8 is released, the access medications travel back to the lower compartment 8."
