MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641005424 A) filed by Amardeep Singh Sarai, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Jan. 19, for 'a man-machine system for maintaining critical procedural integrity through two-person affirmation action.'
Inventor(s) include Amardeep Singh Sarai.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system (100) and a method (200) for preventing unauthorized change of an operational state of a primary sub-system (101) are disclosed. The system (100) includes a manually operated switch (102), a controller (108), and a pair of control buttons (105). The controller (108) is configured to detect a change in position of the switch (102) and to determine, based on operating procedures and safety requirements, whether a resultant change in the operational state of the primary sub-system (101) is permissible. The controller (108) evaluates real-time data received from one or more system sensors (104) to assess operational conditions. When the change is consistent with the operating procedures and safety requirements, the controller (108) enables execution of the change. When the change is inconsistent, the controller (108) allows execution only upon simultaneous actuation of the pair of control buttons (105) within a predefined time period, requiring multi-person authentication."
