MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521133842 A) filed by Proheartz Electic Llp, Pune, Maharashtra, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'a low cost high power air compressor.'

Inventor(s) include Arun Ramkrishna Limaye.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A low-cost high-power air compressor operates as a pneumatic amplifier and comprises an air booster unit (100) having a vacuum generation section (110) with a vacuum generation impeller (111) and an air compression section (120) with an air compression impeller (121), both mounted on a single rotating shaft (130) within separate airtight housings. The shaft (130) is driven by a turbine impeller (140) supplied with compressed air via an inlet (210). Stationary inlet and outlet spiral deflectors (150, 160) are formed with convergent spiral paths to progressively reduce flow cross-section, thereby increasing air velocity and inducing swirl without mechanical rotation. A first bridge duct (170) connects the vacuum generation outlet to the air compression inlet, and a second bridge duct (190) connects the outlet spiral deflector (160) to a compressor tank (200) and incorporates a stationary Venturi unit (180) having an ambient air entrainment inlet (230)."
