MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641007267 A) filed by Rajeev Vijay Hiremath; and Vijayalaxmi Rajeev Hiremath, Dharwad, Karnataka, on Jan. 24, for 'a liquid fertilizer with carbon-complexed/chelated nutrients and its method of preparation thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method (100) for preparation of a liquid fertilizer with carbon-complexed/chelated nutrients. The method comprises charging (102) a first reactor (202) with liquid and solid raw materials (201A, 201B) in water to form a suspension and heating to solubilize the nutrients, into ionic forms, allowing (104) the solution to cool in a second mixture reactor (204), and adding carbon source to form a mixture homogenizing (106) the mixture in homogenizer or colloid mill (206), transferring (108) the mixture into a third reactor (208) to form final products, cooling and storing (110) the final products in storage tanks (210) or drying the final products, packaging (112) the dried products in moisture-proof bags and liquid products in containers."
