MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311081054 A) filed by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., New Delhi, on Nov. 29, 2023, for 'a lighting control system for a vehicle headlight assembly.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A lighting control system (100) for dynamically controlling the illumination of a vehicle headlight assembly is disclosed. The lighting control system (100) comprises a plurality of light sources (10), a module (20) configured to receive topographic information of the vehicle (200), and a position sensor (30) configured to measure pitch and roll angles of the vehicle (200). The lighting control system (100) further comprises an Electronic Control Unit (ECU, 40) having a memory (50) and a controller (70). The ECU (40) is operatively coupled to the plurality of light sources (10), the module (20), and the position sensor (30). The controller (70) is configured to selectively illuminate the plurality of light sources (10) based on the received topographical information from the module (20) and the pitch and roll angles of the vehicle from the position sensor (30) to dynamically adjust the illumination of the headlight assembly."
