MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611024332 A) filed by Dr. Shakti Kumar; and Mrs. Ramesh Rani, Panipat, Haryana, on Feb 28, for 'a lifi-based optical wireless sensor data collection, concentration and control system with distributed hardware nodes and centralized microcontroller architecture.'

The sensing units communicate bidirectionally with a centralized microcontroller-based processing unit using modulated visible light. The present invention provides secure, interference-resistant, and scalable sensor communication without reliance on radio frequency transmission."
