MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073806 A) filed by Uno Minda Limited, Gurgaon, Haryana, on Sept. 30, 2024, for 'a lever assembly.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a lever assembly (100) comprising a holder assembly (102), a first actuating member (104), a second actuating member (106), an adjustment member 5 (107), and a resilient member (110). The second actuating member (106) is operatively connected to the first actuating member (104). The first actuating member (104) is pivotally mounted to the holder assembly (102), which is secured to a frame of a vehicle. The adjustment member (107) is secured in the first actuating member (104) and includes an engagement portion (108) configured to 10 engage with the second actuating member (106). The resilient member (110) is configured to bias the second actuating member (106) toward the engagement portion (108). The adjustment member (107) and the resilient member (110) work together to adjust the position of the second actuating member (106) relative to a handlebar (124), thereby accommodating the hand sizes of different users and 15 maintains a compact configuration."
