MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411014211 A) filed by PV Clean Mobility Technologies Private Limited, Gurgaon, Haryana, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'a leak proof bidirectional coolant solenoid valve.'

Inventor(s) include Krishna Pundhir; Navdeep Dahiya; Thejesh Kumar Magadi Byredevaru; and Gunneri Ananda Reddy.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a leak proof bidirectional linear coolant flow control solenoid valve (10) that allows the flow of coolant in both the directions comprises of a housing (6), a plurality of sealing surfaces, a solenoid body (8), a holder (2), a spring (3), a plunger (5) and a mounting bracket (7). The bidirectional linear coolant flow control solenoid valve (10) has a plurality of sealing surfaces including a primary sealing surface (1) and a secondary sealing surface (4) that are configured to control a flow of coolant through the bidirectional linear coolant flow control solenoid valve (10). The bidirectional linear coolant flow control solenoid valve (10) operates in a bidirectional mode by occluding and un-occluding the plurality of sealing surfaces based on the internal pressure."
