MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511133333 A) filed by Heethox-K Private Limited, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'a lateral flow immuno-chromatography based rapid diagnostic test card for identification of beta thalassemia.'

The test strip (102) comprising at least two result windows (106) carved on the surface of the test strip (102) and the two result windows (106) further having a plurality of labelled regions indicating the presence of the specific haemoglobin variants. The test strip (102) comprising the control band (108) configured to facilitate quality control and accuracy verification. The card (100) comprising a buffer bottle (110) containing a buffer reagent to facilitate the processing of the biological sample collected from the subject."
