MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541124530 A) filed by Beacontech Sports Private Limited, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on Dec. 10, 2025, for 'a humidity-conditioning apparatus.'

Inventor(s) include Satya Sravya Eranki.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides an apparatus (100) for conditioning feather shuttlecocks. The apparatus comprises a housing (204) having one open side that is closed by a snap-fit lid (202) comprising at least one vent (102) configured to permit controlled moisture vapor transmission. A cartridge bay (208) is positioned at a base region (302) of the housing (204) and configured to receive at least one replaceable cartridge (206). The cartridge includes a bottom plate (402) that holds a composition (404), and a top plate (406) having a plurality of openings (408) to ensure vapor-phase moisture diffusion while preventing direct liquid contact with the feather shuttlecocks. The apparatus maintains the internal relative humidity within a preservation range of 60% to 80% without condensation, thereby restoring keratin flexibility, reducing vane fracture, and extending service life of feather shuttlecocks by passive humidity buffering."
