According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a hub motor (100) with an axial outrunner configuration. The hub motor (100) includes a sleeve assembly (130) configured to provide a mechanical interface for coupling at least one component of the hub motor (100) to the shaft (110). The hub motor (100) includes a printed winding stator (150) mechanically locked in fixed position relative to the shaft (110) by the means of the sleeve assembly (130). The hub motor (100) includes a rotor-hub assembly (170) movably coupled to the shaft (110) via sleeve assembly (130) and an electrical conductor (190) configured to establish electrical communication between the printed winding stator (150) and a power source (195) disposed external to the hub motor (100)."
