MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202321080367 A) filed by Whiz Key (OPC) Private Limited, Pune, Maharashtra, on Nov. 27, 2023, for 'a hot liquid defoamer.'

Inventor(s) include Avinash Appasaheb Magdum.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a hot liquid defoamer. The hot liquid defoamer includes a container (106), a stirrer (210), a DC motor (208), a BLDC fan (206), a time selector (304), a heating element (108), a cantilever stand (104), a centre plate (102) and a control unit (204). The control unit (204) has a sensor (202) and an alarming unit. The sensor (202) detects the initial level of the liquid before providing heat to the liquid and raising level of liquid as heating process initiates. A time is set in the time selector to stir the liquid. As the level of the liquid is raised above a predetermined level the control unit (204) actuates the BLDC fan (206) to push the liquid downward and as the liquid returns to the initial level the BLDC fan (206) is turned off."
