MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024100 A) filed by Bara Ab Rashid, Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, on March 26, 2024, for 'a holding apparatus for specially-abled persons to enable writing.'

Inventor(s) include Bara Aadil Rashid.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A holding apparatus for specially-abled persons to enable writing comprising: a grip which ensconces a writing apparatus (1), said grip coupled with a block (3) which lends support to the grip such that the block is axially parallel to the grip and is laterally located to the writing apparatus (1); and a strap (2) extending from the block (3) of the grip such that a user can wear it in order to handle the writing apparatus (1)."
