MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521131817 A) filed by Proheartz Electic Llp, Pune, Maharashtra, on Dec. 25, 2025, for 'a high power brushless alternator.'

Inventor(s) include Arun Ramkrishna Limaye.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A high-power brushless and slipring-less synchronous alternator comprises a stator carrying armature windings (5), a ferromagnetic rotor with poles (6) rotating between two stationary field coils (9) positioned sideways relative to the rotor axis without onboard windings, permanent magnets or discrete flux links, the poles being separated by a non-magnetic central core (14) to prevent flux leakage, a driving shaft (1) coupled to the rotor, and a stationary voltage regulator & rectifier assembly (7). The stationary field coils (9) are bobbin-less wound and their terminals are directly electrically connected to the stationary voltage regulator & rectifier assembly (7). Direct current supplied to the stationary field coils establishes a powerful magnetic field that externally magnetizes the rotating ferromagnetic poles (6) formed from cold-rolled steel via blanking and forming operations."
