MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621023148 A) filed by Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, Maharashtra, on Feb. 26, for 'a high-performance stoving type coating composition and a process for its preparation.'
Inventor(s) include Nikam, Laxman Shankar; Moghe, Hemant Shrinivas; and Ingle, Vishal Bansi.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a high-performance stoving type (HPST) coating composition and a process for its preparation. The HPST coating composition of the present disclosure provides excellent adhesion when applied to an oily barrel surface. The HPST coating composition of the present disclosure is resistant to water and chemicals. The process for the preparation of the coating composition is simple and economical."
