MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411029575 A) filed by Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Haryana, on April 12, 2024, for 'a high efficiency smokeless biomass cookstove.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a high efficiency smokeless biomass cookstove 100 for smokeless combustion and efficient heat transfer in cooking and heating applications. The cookstove 100 features top cover 1 and support ring 2A connected to the outer body 7, while the outer body 7 includes an inner core 4 with secondary inflow holes 13 and tertiary heated air inflow inlets 14. The feeding mouth 5 is integrated into the inner core 4 and extends from the outer body 7 directing air inflow with flue gases to the combustion zone. The main frame 6 is coupled to the outer body 7 and has a plurality of support legs(6A,6B,6C), including a plurality of tires (18A,18B,18C), pot support 17, and combustion tray supports 16. The combustion tray 8 is mounted on the main frame 6 and attached to the outer body 7, featuring an ash removal hole 11 for easy removal."
