MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621004406 A) filed by Ve Commercial Vehicles Ltd., Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, G08G, on Jan. 16, for 'a haptic passenger alert system for commercial vehicle.'

The at least one processor (104) is configured to establish authenticated communication with a remote telematics server (106). A telematics data acquisition module (110) receives real-time vehicle parameters through an API. A routing computation module (112) transmits current vehicle coordinates to the API and receives estimated time of arrival (ETA) values corresponding to a plurality of predefined vehicle stop locations. A plurality of seat-specific vibration modules (114), each physically positioned proximate to a respective passenger seat. The at least one processor (104) compares the received ETA values with the unique destination index associated with each passenger seat and selectively activates the corresponding seat-specific vibration module (114) based on predefined ETA threshold values."
