MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441036916 A) filed by TVS Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on May 10, 2024, for 'a handlebar assembly for a vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Rakesh Premchand; Sakthi Vignesh Dhayalan; Sornappan Banu Sharmanat H; Siddapura Nagaraju Prashanth; Lakshmi Narasimhan Ananthamurthy; Hari Ganesh Sakinala; and B Vamsi Krishna.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Aspect of the present invention pertains a holding member (110) for a handlebar assembly (102). The holding member (110) comprising: a plurality of first portions (506, 508), a plurality of second portions (502, 504), the plurality of second portions (502, 506) extending upwardly from the plurality of first portions (506, 508); and at least one third portion (512), the at least one third portion (512) is adapted to bridge each of the plurality of first portions (506, 508) or each of the plurality of second portions (502, 504). The present subject matter reduces the NVH issues while keeping the ergonomic position of a display unit 114. Further, the holding member 110 eliminates the plurality of child parts required to mount the display unit 114 to the handlebar assembly 102."
