MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541078462 A) filed by Dr. Sharon Navamani, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Aug. 19, 2025, for 'a golf clubhead spin monitoring system and method thereof.'

The golf clubhead spin monitoring system (100) comprises at least one golf club (101) with a clubhead (101a), an RPM tracker (118) mounted on the grip, including a sensor unit (102), microcontroller (103), battery management unit (104), power regulator (105), indicators (107), data generation module (113), and data processing module (114), a processor (110), a memory (112), and a telecommunication device (108) with an interaction module (109). The RPM tracker (118) measures acceleration and angular velocity of the clubhead (101a), converts data into RPM (116), and transmits real-time RPM and motion statistics via wireless communication (115). The interaction module displays RPM data, analyses performance, and provides feedback, enabling standardized biomechanical strokes and enhanced ball-striking precision."
