MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341088215 A) filed by TVS Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'a gear shift assembly and a guide member thereof.'

The bore (401) is configured to receive and accommodate a gear shift shaft (201) of the gear shift assembly (200). The outer surface (402) is configured to receive a first spring (202). The indentation (403) is provided on a second edge 10 (402S) of the outer surface (402). The one or more limbs (404A, 404B) are provided on one or more sides of the indentation (403). The one or more limbs (404A, 404B) are configured to engage with one or more components of the gear shift assembly (200) to restrict a rotational movement of the guide member (400) around the rotational axis (X-X)."
