MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517060380 A) filed by J. C. Bamford Excavators Limited, Uttoxeter, U.K., on June 24, for 'a gaseous fuel storage system for a working machine.'

Inventor(s) include Rushton, Tom.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a material handling machine comprising: a body mounted on a ground engaging structure; a lifting arm pivotally mounted to the body; a gas engine configured to provide motive power to the ground engaging structure; an operator cab mounted to the body adjacent the lifting arm; and at least one storage tank for supplying a gaseous fuel to the gas engine, wherein the storage tank is located beneath the operator cab."
