MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541090162 A) filed by SS Engineers And Consultants Private Limited, Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, on Sept. 22, 2025, for 'a fully integrated milk pouch collating and packaging automation system.'

Inventor(s) include Kothari Keerthi Kumar Jain; and Gorikapudi Suresh Raju.

The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a fully integrated milk sachet collating and secondary packaging automation system comprising a sachet collection conveyor (1) driven by a drive unit (2) for conveying filled milk sachets, and a chute (7) configured to guide and align the sachets in a controlled flow. A pouch counter (10) counts individual sachets and generates a control signal upon reaching a predetermined count corresponding to selectable matrix formations including 3 8, 9 8, 7 8, 8 6, and 5 2 arrangements for different sachet volumes, whereupon a pouch pusher (13) transfers the grouped sachets onto a satellite conveyor (12). An empty crate conveyor (4), together with an empty crate stopper (9) and an empty crate pusher (8), positions an empty crate at a loading station, while a crate locator (14) ensures positional alignment. A crate lifter (11) vertically adjusts the crate to enable controlled deposition of the grouped sachets. A filled crate stopper (6), a filled crate conveyor (5), and a crate counter (3) regulate discharge and counting of filled crates, thereby providing automated and synchronized secondary packaging of milk sachets."
